How to use EverydayWork

From job to paid, in short steps.

  1. 1

    Log a job

Tap + New → Log a job. Pick the client, then Hourly, Day or Fixed price. The job goes onto a draft invoice for that client.

  2. 2

    Check and send

Home → To send. Open the draft, tap These figures are right, then WhatsApp, email, pay link or PDF.

  3. 3

    Get paid

Home → Waiting. Open the invoice and tap Record payment. Part payments are fine; it shows Paid when the total is in. Overdue? Tap Remind.

  4. 4

    Undo if wrong

Open the invoice in Invoices and tap Undo. It goes back one step.

Report a bug or idea

Something not right, or an idea? Report a bug or idea (also in ☰ Menu). Add a photo or screenshot if it helps. It goes straight to Everyday Business, and works without signal too (it sends when you're back online).

Privacy

We record app usage events and errors to improve the app: which screens are opened, when a job, invoice or payment is added, the app version and phone or browser type. We never record job descriptions, client details or amounts in these, and they're deleted after 180 days. Everything stays in our own database; we don't use third-party analytics.

To fix a problem, Everyday Business support may view your data read-only. They can't change or send anything, a view lasts at most 30 minutes, and every view is logged.

Free test

The free test runs until 31 Dec 2026. A banner counts down the last 30 days, and Settings → Account shows your date. After it ends you can still open, view and download your invoices, PDFs and exports, but you can't add, change or send anything. Payments customers make online are still recorded.

Install the app

  • Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung, Opera) – tap Install on the banner, or the browser menu → Install app / Add to Home screen.
  • Android Firefox – menu ⋮ → Install (or Add to Home screen).
  • iPhone Safari – Share → Add to Home Screen.
  • iPhone Chrome – Share in the address bar → Add to Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
  • iPhone Edge / Firefox – menu → Share → Add to Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
  • Mac Safari – File → Add to Dock.
  • Computer Chrome / Edge – the install icon in the address bar. Firefox on a computer can't install apps.
