Privacy notice
Test version: EverydayWork is a closed beta. Features may change, there may be bugs, and the app is provided as-is during the beta. Keep your own copies of anything critical; invoices can be emailed or downloaded.
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Everyday Business, represented by Jane Reilly. Contact: jane@everydaybusiness.ie. No home address is published here.
What information is stored?
- Account information, including your sign-in email and account identifiers.
- Business details and settings you enter, such as business name, contact details, invoice settings and payment options.
- Client details, including names and contact or billing information you add.
- Jobs, quotes, invoices, payment records, expenses, notes and related business records.
- Photos or other files you attach to jobs.
- Basic app-usage events used to understand reliability and usage (event names, screen, app version and device information). These events do not include job text or invoice amounts and are kept for 180 days.
Please only enter information about other people that you need for your business records, and make sure you have an appropriate basis to do so.
Why is it used?
Information is used to provide sign-in and the app's business-record features, store and retrieve your documents and job files, deliver documents by email when you choose to send them, support online payment options you enable, keep the service secure and reliable, and respond to your requests.
Where is it stored and who helps process it?
App account, business and job data are stored with Supabase in the EU/Ireland region. The app is served through Cloudflare. Depending on the features you use, service providers may include:
- Supabase: account authentication, database and file storage.
- Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of the web app.
- Resend: delivery of invoice and quote emails when you choose to send them.
- Stripe and Revolut: online payment services if you connect or enable them. Those providers handle payment information under their own terms; EverydayWork does not store full card details.
These providers may process information in other locations under their own safeguards and service terms. We do not publish your home address in this notice.
How long is information kept?
Information is kept while your account is active and for as long afterwards as needed to provide the service, handle support or disputes, and meet applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations. When an account deletion request is completed, personal data that is no longer needed for those purposes will be deleted or de-identified. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it. Provider backups may retain deleted data for a limited period under their normal backup cycles. Usage-event data is kept for 180 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your personal data, an export, correction or deletion by emailing jane@everydaybusiness.ie from your account email. You can also correct business and client details in the app and export available business summaries from Summary. To request account deletion, use Request account deletion. We may need to retain some records for legal or accounting obligations.
You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
